WHO IS NURI CIHAN OZDOGAN ?
Nuri Cihan OZDOGAN is Turkish filmmaker; director, writer and producer. He was born on September 30th, 1990 in Kadirli and he has been live in Adana / Turkiye since 1996.
He started to write stories about his family when he was at high-school. He transformed his stories to screenplays during the university years although he studied mechanical engineering. After his graduation he started making short films. SUKUT (2016) which was made by with Tunahan Kurt, won first award for Cihan at Adana's local festival. SIRAT (2016) which is directed by Cihan and written by with Ahmet Soysal, screened in 11 different countries from 3 continents. Sirat won first International Best Film Award from China for Cihan in 2016. Sirat was nominee for best screenplay and best cinematography awards in very prestigious film festival in Nice/France called International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema. His third short film called SIRAYET (The All Seeing Blind, 2017) has spectacular cast, Kemal Burak Alper, Engin Yuksel, Serdar Seker and Osman Eren. Sirayet began to collect awards at 1st Hollywood Turkish Film Festival by winning Audience Award at legendary Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. Sirayet won many awards and had some prestigous nominations from national and international film festivals. Sirayet collected Best Fiction Film and Film Of The Year Awards from Cambridge Watersprite Film Festival among 1,000 films from 100 countries. Sirayet also won Second Best Short Film award from Beirut International Film Festival which is Academy Awards Qualify festival. If Sirayet had won the Best Film Award, Sirayet would be considered for the Best Live Action Short Film Oscar Award. He shot his fourth short film called SAME NIGHT DIFFERENT BLUE (2021) in the beggining of 2020. Celebrity and successful actors such as Vildan Atasever, Engin Yüksel, Burak Şafak took part in the cast of the film. In 2021, Same Night Different Blue began to be screened international film festivals. Cihan's neo-noir short film collected many awards from national and international film festivals.
He is founder and owner of REMZ FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY in Adana. He is writing his first feature film script nowadays!
